TRAINER

I am so excited to be joining the PG Strength Club team. My journey with fitness started back in high school as I was learning how to build a healthier relationship with food and movement, and I’ve been hooked since.

My career started as a coach at Orangetheory, then became the Head Trainer at a local F45, and I am now part of the crew at WØRK DC Fitness, a local boutique studio. Throughout my career, I’ve found that the thing I love most about training is helping people surprise themselves with what they’re capable of - whether it’s lifting heavier, gaining confidence (in and out of the gym), or just feeling stronger overall!

Outside of the gym, I’m a dog mom to a very sassy Yorkie mix named Disco, a huge foodie with a soft spot for sweet treats, and I love some quality time with friends and making new connections in my community. I can’t wait to meet you, cheer you on, and help you crush your goals - I’m so happy to be here!

the team

I created PG Strength Club so that I could share the power of a strong body with others. I am a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine also holding certifications in group training and weight loss. Additionally I hold a pre/post natal performance training certification with PROnatal Fitness as well as a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification with Yoga Union in Bali, Indonesia.

I have a background in competitive powerlifting which serves as the platform for most of my programming style. I love weaving breathwork, thoughtful stretching and functional movements into my workouts. My goal is not only to create fun and challenging programs for each client but to also foster a positive, safe and inclusive environment for those clients to workout in!

KINDU

Kindu is Laura’s beloved mutt who can sometimes be found lounging in his crate at the warehouse and occasionally catching some zoomies around the gym too! Don’t let his senior citizen status fool you, he’s a spunky and spirited guy who loves cuddles from all his gym friends!
